I did not know what to expect coming here, but, for sure I was not disappointed. I like it so much, I am looking at moving to Slovenia for a few months….

Ljubljana
Ljubljana, capital of Slovenia is a very quiet capital with a good size oldtown with a lot pedestrian streets. The castle and the river make this town very charming

Lake Bled
The watercolor, the cleanliness of Bled, the 5K walking trail around the lake, the outdoors activities you can do, the mountains scenery around the lake……. I call it: The Fantastic Bled!

Vintgar Gorges
A must do if you are in Bled area. You can take a free bus from Bled (only 10mn drive) but going by car give you more freedom and the parking at the gorge is free. On the way back at the end of the gorge, you can turn left for 1hr walk or turn right for 1.1/2hr. Choose this one, longer, but easier and an amazing view on the mountains
Postojna Cave
This cave has the European largest room and is the longest European cave (28km). So long you need to take a train to access the cave. Another must see, even if you have seen other caves around the world
