For those who don’t know the story, this bridge was destroyed by the US Air Force during WWII. This bridge was part of the “Death Railway” where over 100,000.00 prisoners’ died during its construction. They built this railway in the middle of the jungle with hand tools… This railway was from Burma to Thailand to supply the Japanese’s army. Today, only a very short portion of the original exists, and it is mainly for tourists \"cry\"<\/p>\n
